Passenger-side power window is slow in both directions. Any suggestions ?
Thanks, Tim

Sounds like bad ground or low voltage. Ensure ground is good and all connectors are clean and not corroded. Taking voltage reading through circuit can make it easier to diagnose.

First things first, considering the age of our cars, get a can of CRC silicone spray and spray the front and rear channels that the glass rides in. In this colder weather they tend to dry and slow things down. Also if you have your door panel off, use the spray on anything that moves inside the door. Good luck.

It can be rollers, but it is very common to have switches that have burnt/tarnished contacts which add resistance and slow the motor down.

This is where I would start. Lubricate the mechanical parts and see what results you get. I have to do this every year or two in my truck or the window just crawls along.

THIS!!! and of course the roller tracks, I just use WD40 on them....my car being a convertible, has no glass tracks, just the rubber on the top/windshield///

As these cars get on in years, the grease inside the motor(s) dries up and can become like glue. If the other suggestions don't fix the problem, it may be time to remove the motor and pull it apart to clean the brushes, remove and clean out all of the old grease and repack it with Mobil synthetic grease. Good luck. Jerry

I have similar issue. I have taken the regulator out it seems to move well. I did find that front roller, the one that attaches to the glass is VERY snug. To these rollers need to move freely in the track.

Thanks for help
