1971 LS5 intake bolt torgue
Is it 35 lbs on cast iron the correct torque? If replacing chrome head bolts one at a time with stock bolts should I follow the same sequence of 1 to 16 as if I were starting from scratch?

Hi,
The 71 CSM indicates 30 lbs.ft. for intake manifold bolts for 350/454 engines.
Regards,
Alan

Yes you should go in order, one at a time. And don't forget some thread sealant. I would go through all 16 at a torque value of 1/3 the final (=10lbs) the first time around. Then come back for the 2/3 torque value, then full torque.
Center bolts are about impossible to use a torque wrench on. Just get a feel for 30 lb with a boxend wrench.

Signal lights
Little help. Just started today. Replaced the alternator and started Vette up. I got outside car and noticed when checking signal lights. Front blinkers flash according to selection. Back signal lights both flash no matter what side selected.
Could it be a ground issue.or signal light switch.
