Seems there are more opinions on these damn brakes than there is any solid look/analysis of the problems, and some experiences....
at any rate, it's hard for me to imagine any shark still out there that's been driven at all in the last 20 years still without SS lined calipers....but be as that may, check first....
then order the O ring pistons kits....toss the damn springs, and redo with DOT 5 fluid, after blowing lines clear and running carb cleaner through them and then MORE air....
replace any shakey plumbing, obviously....
for the typical price...redo the m/cylinder also...duh....
pull the 'new' (rebuilt) apart to check for proper install...no pitting, etc...
prime as per usual...
and then gravity bleed the system....
no problems....
unless the runout is so bad a prison guard can't find it....the system will for fine....
