Small question here, what was your staring point on the ignition, how many degrees? (it for a small block 400hp street motor.)

Not sure what you're asking? You mean timing advance when cranking? I use 15 degrees. Idle is 27.
Or are you asking how to phase the rotor? For that I set the crank to 30 degrees and then adjusted the distributor so it lined up to the terminal.

Here we have a Fitech system we have to install on a SBC.
The manuel is saying 10 degrees on the crank, depending on the motor (Ford, Chevy ec ec)
I was wondering, instead of 10, maybe it must be 15 or 16 degrees when it's a SBC, or maybe it doesn't matter?

Holley recommends 15 for cranking so that's what I've always used.
