Default Low Beam Weirdness

I did a bunch of searching, but couldn't find anyone who had this exact issue.

When low beams are on, only the passenger side low beam works. When I engage the high beams, all 4 lights work (both highs and both lows).

Please tell me this is common and I don't have to go hunting down wires .

I have a 76, so high beam switch on floor.

I just found a post saying that it's a dual filament bulb (DOH!). Is that right?

That's right! You have a low-beam lamp with a bad low-beam filament.
