I used a couple of 3/8” threaded rod about 4 inches long on each end of the header flange in lieu of header bolts to start with. This allowed me to hang the headers in place and pull them a couple inches from the head. I then installed the plugs and the plug wires with no problems. Used everything from plug sockets to box end wrenches to tighten the plugs. Once tight and the wires were on I gently pushed the headers back up against the heads and installed the header bolts. Long threaded rods came out after I got a couple of the header bolts started. Laborious process but I could not get the ceramic plug ends on any other way. When I replace the plugs I will just do the reverse.

I would have to remove the Borgeson box + Power steering reservoir + Hydratech booster and master cylinder just to get at the headers and then try to get them to move. #3 header tube is already customized to fit.
