Default T/A Bushing replacement

So far so good. It took me 2 hrs to get pass. side T/A off and remove old bushing. I used a sawzall to cut the old bushing, then was able to push them out. Pressed the new bushings in easily and used a pipe flaring tool to flare the end. Tomorrow the otherside. Then put her back together! This is actually a breeze compared to some of the under dash BS I've had to do! I read many threads on this so I could wrap my brain around it better. Thanks to all.

That's awesome! Not an easy task if you have to saw the bolts. I had to do the same thing but my arms were shot so got rebuilds as replacements. My spindles were fine and were reused, just the arms needed replaced. Rock on brother!

If you used rubber bushings. Just MAKE SURE that you file the sleeve you flared FLAT against the special tapered washer.

Do not leave any of this sleeve protruding out past the washer. You want a flat surface for your shims to lay against.

Excellent detailing- I do that on every arm bushing sleeve face and have for years. Shows who knows how to build these arms
