Comming home from a local car show with the ac on and I reliesed the high speed fan was not
working is that the relay under the hood or the one in the console, I can’t remember.
thanks for looking.
This is common for the ORANGE wire that goes to the relay to get 'toasted off' the relay due to the amount of current that wire is drawing and how the connection is out there in the engine compartment where it can get dirty.
When you go to HIGH speed for the fan The resistor is no longer in play and is not a part of how the fan runs on high speed.

the orange wire is fine checked the inline fuse over at the horn relay and it was fine also.
new harness, could the switch be bad? Thanks. Again DUB.
I can not give you any advice without you testing things and giving feedback.
Just becasue the ORANGE wire is good ...does not mean that when it is connected to your relay t is actually making good contact. and thus...allowing the power to go out to the relay to your fan motor.
