1976 Tilt/Tele Column Question

I am having brain fade here! Is a 1976 tilt/tele column the same as a 70-75 other than the wheel and the tele mechanism? Can I put a pre '76 hub and top parts to put it on my '72 is what I can't remember.

Willcox used to sell a kit to swap from the 4 spoke to the normal 3 spoke. It had the hub, shroud and horn parts.

I havn't had mine apart yet, but 76 is a special year, the spline hub is built into the wheel IIRC... I will have to pull it apart soon though as I didn't read directions when I did my Borgeson swap I ended up with it 90* off where I need it
