71' C3 Strut Rod replacement question

Do I have to disconnect my rear spring cushion assemblies to remove and replace my strut rods? I realize the lower shock mounts are going to be a pain!

you do not need to disconnect the spring to change the strut rods.

Get the tool available to pound out the lower shock mounts. It is worth every penny and makes the job pretty easy with it and a large hammer.
