I was deep-diving the web this evening, looking for a certain DIY topic and came across this treasure trove of info from a Jim Shea. Some of you probably know of his info, but others may not, including me being only 5 years into the hobby.
Following are two links - both were organized for the author, not the public - but, if you dig through them you are bound to find something applicable to making one or more of your own projects easier based on his experience. One of the links is primarily for steering-related topics where he is obviously a subject matter expert; and the other one is more general, but very interesting and applicable to my stage of restoration in some areas.
Hope this helps others in some manner, and only ask that you do the same if you come across some good C3 project reading; and, Mr. Shea if you are reading this "thank you!" for posting this on the web, sir.
Great info Dave,
I am very familiar with Jim Shea's expertise and his articles are excellent.
Thanks for posting this so others can benefit from this experience as well.
Greg
I never met Jim, but I have used his papers on rebuilding the steering column on my 70 SS Chevelle. His knowledge is invaluable. I would love to shake his hand and thank him for his generous sharing of knowledge. My two cents. Jerry
