Default Rally Wheels

I just picked up a set of factory rally wheels for my 71 Corvette. Im having them sand blasted and Im going to re-spray them. I read that the 68-71 wheels used a silver with a little bit of a green tint. Anybody know what the exact color is? Also what brand of paint have you guys used? Thanks, Bill

The color is called "Argent Silver," also known as "Non-Smudge Aluminum." Most of the major paint manufacturers have this standard color available in mixing formulas in all the paint lines. Keep in mind that the back sides (insides), and the bead areas, of the wheels were not painted silver - they were grey. I have the mixing formula for this special grey if you need it. You need to spray a good epoxy primer on the entire wheel after sandblast, before you paint them.

Default 2019 Z51 Chrome Rims

Do you have a paint code for the grey used on back of rims? I have a ‘19 Z51 with chrome that got scratched by the dealer when taking weights off!
