Is it a fuse or aftermarket circuit breaker made to replace a vintage glass fuse?
IF its a true circuit breaker, some do have a reset but most that replace a glass fuse reset automatically, so if you didnt fix the short it will pretty much stay popped off.

If its a glass fuse, once blown its trash.
Agreed.
One the circuit breaker is allowed to cool down it will rest like 'Bats' stated. If the circuit is drawing more current than the circuit breaker can handle and is still doing so.... it can reset and then pop again.
It probably popped when I had the interior out and something shorted. This is what I'm talking about
What was 30a being used on ?
That style should reset itself, so either the short isnt getting fixed or breaker is bad,
I guess i lean to short still there but run a test meter set to ohms across the breaker see if its closed now that its out and cool.

Tung Sol made mainly blinker relays, but when you think about it, a 30 Amp CB that resets is just a larger, current carrying slow motion blinker. LOL
If it has electrical continuity from one connection point to the other, it may be a unit that resets itself. If no continuity, it won't reset...or it is TOAST....

Tung sol made tons of different stuff, was their mainstay flashers?
Yeah, in basic form a flasher is a breaker, 30a would run a lot of turn signals.
30a is high ish to me on an old stock c3 what was it on heater motor?
I use just breakers on my vw trike, with a 30a i would be concerned that if its on a small gauge wire circuit the wire would melt before the breaker pops or at least the wire gets too darn hot.

Glad you got it working and now knowing you have power windows that did not work before you changed it... YES...there is a 30 amp circuit breaker used for the power windows that goes in the fuse panel.
