Try some Blue Devil oil stop leak, Autozone has it for about 20. Says that it rejuvinates(spelling) the rubber. I think it is a good leak preventer as well, their products have some great reviews.

Fixing the leaks can be frustrating as you go through different gasket materials with and without sealant yet it still leaks. Newer cars have ridgid pan sealing surfaces and high tech gaskets. Old cars and old machinery were expected to leak, checking and topping off is part of ownership.
I am content if the leaks are away from hot exhaust causing burning oil smell inside the car while driving. I keep an old piece of carpet under my c3 and switch it out periodically.
