Dyno ?
My dyno guy won't put my C3 on the dyno. He says that he won't dyno a car with a carburator. What? Is this true? there's gotta to be a way ??

No kidding....you do not want that guy anywhere near your car. Especially since he says he "can't".......

He's an idiot. And he's cut his potential for business in half.

Thanks guys. IvI' had two Z06s that I spent a bunch of money on. He dynoed both of them. I didn't want him to curve the timing, I just wanted to know what I'm putting down at the rear. What an idiot.
Thanks
John.
Thanks
John.

I will echo the other's comments. Go to another dyno. I have had my 68 convert with NOM 454 and 750 cfm carb dyno-ed six times last year.

Sounds like someone who doesn't understand how a carb works...and that means he may be able to push buttons on a computer to "tune" but that means he doesn't likely understand truly what he's doing there either. Concepts are identical....
Find a new guy....

Echoing this again....YES...this guy is limited on his ACTUAL MECHANICAL knowledge on how make a car perform. I know many mechanics that IF they cannot plug a scanner in the cars system...they have NO CLUE. Heck...even some of them HAVE NO CLUE even with a scanner and the car not putting up a trouble code.

What cam did you use? My last cam desk topped about 355 HP. The new one I just ordered, Superchevy got up to 460HP out of. Im hoping to get 420-450 hp.
