I'll take a guess.
Could it bring power to the hood air door solenoid?

The connector with the white paint on it and the red to green splice is probably for the horn. Green is usually the horn.

Thanks Peterbuilt - I see it now, hood air door solenoid

Not related - Again no motor in car as of yet - I pulled up on the headlight buckets last night to pop them up by hand - Both came up as should, I can push the drivers side back down but the pass side will not go back down. Any ideas how to get that light bucket back down.

You have to pull it down from the bottom.
Pull down on the 'actuator link bracket' and be careful not to break the little headlight warning switch (#8)

Easy fix - pulled down on the 'actuator link bracket' and the light came down. I found another wire connector that was all taped up. It is off of blower motor/ heater element wire harness pass side -engine compartment.

MAybe the superheat switch on the A/C Compressor? The other connector looks like the thermal limiter fuse they had then.

The one with the jumper goes to the A6 compressor, the other plug goes to the pressure switch on the liquid line inside the right fender lip.

The jumper is not needed and should not be there.

I have another question - Finally i have the motor in the car over the weekend and wires hooked up to the starter and Alt - New starter , All the lights work etc. When i turn the key to start i hear a click at the starter interlock relay on firewall but no start. Just like if the battery was dead. Battery new - 12 volts and charged. So i looked into the seat belt crap. This car has a new wire harness without the seat belt thing + It has brand new seats without the seat belt switch. The only harness that has not been replaced is this one with blower motor and relay. Been reading how to bypass, but to bypass its always under the seats. So Question how do i bypass the relay on the firewall. A few pics of what i have.
