Engine stand
I gonna buy an engine stand for my 454 and the engine stand that I've found takes max 450 kg. How much does it weight with iron heads?¨ :cheers:

I bought my engine stand at Biltema,and it holds a complete bigblock..I belive theres two diffrent sizes of stands so pick the biggest one,that holds for 450Kg.. :cheers:

Tyvärr, de som jag har ska i igen.. Om jag inte bestämmer mej för att ta in en ny motor från USA. Men i så fall kan jag höra av mej.

Not even an all iron BB will reach 450kg, so you'll be OK. From hazy memory I believe a fully dressed all iron BB is in the 700 lbs range, which is about 320-360 kg or so.
Of course some aluminum heads, intake, w-pump etc never hurts! :)
