Well I finally got it all piped together for now. I figured out how to run the twin intercoolers and I have them mounted but I have to hold off. Reason is I will need an L88 or cowl hood and I also need to adjust how far the hood can open as it hits the pipes at full tilt.

So couple of updates....pulled it out the garage after a year of building the car (it's dirty I know). Took it for a road test down the road and all went well! Obviously I need to tune it and a few other little things but success!!

Very nice! How much boost are you running? You could just build a 'bulge' into your hood for the blower rather than buy a new hood. My guess is that any new hood you get will have the same clearance problem in that area and you will need to repaint it regardless.

Also, where/how did you mount your intercoolers? Any pics?

The hood doesn't bother me I actually like it... here's a close up of how I solved that problem.

No boost numbers yet but the pulley I have on it now is for 10psi. I also didn't mount the intercoolers yet, still working out if I want to run my twin Air2Air or go with a water cooled one (leaning towards the water cooled). At this point I just wanted to get the car on the road, I want to stay away from modding for ever and never actually getting it "done".

I'll be sure post it once its in (thats for the winter)

Well after a year I was able to take it down the street for a quick run...car is just silly (in a very good way). Still have to tune it so its only going to get much better. Also gave it a bath... hopefully interior will be done soon, I'll put the my wheels on it and I can start to enjoy before the snow comes

.

Thanks Rich, coming from you that means a lot. I don't have good video but as soon as I do I'll post. Still have a few things to share...

Amazing! Can you provide more details on the header/sidepipes/heat shield set up?

Sure headers are Doug's. They fell into the car but I have nothing stock. If you are using a R&P setup then number 1 tube will need some love. The inserts are the middle sound ones and the heat shields are from cobrastuff. Everything is ceramic coated.
