Looks like jessel has made us a new sbc or short stroke bbc your choice. Deck hight 8.50 ", cylinder bore size 4.50", bore centerline 5.0 ". Main web size 3.50 " cam tunnel huge 3.50 ". Width at oil pan rail as meassure at inside edge 11.0 " ( original bbc was 8.5 " ). Its stroke will be 3.350. Go jessell. You the man.

Sounds like gonna need 500 or more lb valvesprings. 8k rpm motor minimum.

Thanks for the article link. I had seen a sneak peek type article before on this engine, but not to this level of detail. Exciting design and very interested to see how it turns out.

Most increadble part that 3 1/2 inch cam tunnel. even with some form of bearing probably use more then 3 1/4 dia. Base circle on the cam.
