There isn't one. Gear oil is sucked out through the filler plug with a tool made for doing this. The same suction tool is then used to refill the differential. A hole can be drilled and tapped to accommodate a drain plug.

Before will work, but it'll make the gravy taste funny.

Look for something like this at your nearby NAPA Auto Parts store...

Just be sure to clean it before using it to refill the differential with new oil... or basting a turkey?

Good luck... GUSTO

Removing diffy fluid is made easier by driving at highway speeds for about 1/2 hour. That will warm up the fluid so that it flows much easier.

And, if that little jaunt takes you anywhere near a Hooters restaurant, a few wings might be in order......

P.S. That plug is actually a "fill plug". You put diffy fluid in until it just begins to run back out. Then install plug.

That's the tool you want. I got mine from Amazon for $15- or so. Buy two, as turkey juice is not an approved differential fluid. If your wife cooks whale, however, you can use the renderings as positraction additive, otherwise buy the correct additive when you change the fluid.
