Installing Offset Trailing Arms??????
Hi, I have a 79 L82 3.70 Stick car that is very solid but has "Clapped Out" Trailing Arms. I also bought a 71 Chassis with lots of aftermarket stuff & want to use the offset trailing arms on my 79, how do I determine how many shims? Just try to center it or???? I have never done this but it seems simple. Thanks!

When I installed my offset T-arms I just used the shims and centered them in the pockets. Then the alignment shop did the rest. Get stainless steel shims to avoid them rusting in a few years.
