Default '78 Steering column part?

While rebuilding the column this small part fell on the floor! It's from a tilt/ telescopic column, it came out while I was removing the aluminum lock housing cover to get the turn signal lever stump out of the pivot.

The part you are showing is the clip for the ignition switch warning buzzer... it's the retainer that holds it in place and has nothing to do with the lever. it holds this switch in place.

You guys are awsome!! I'm also having a tough time locating the replacement lever? Didn't see one on your site for a '78

Yeah they are hard to find... it's a 78 but does the car have cruise control? That's the biggest question..... It looks as if you don't and that this is the turn signal lever... email me at service@willcoxcorvette.com and Monday I'll see if I have a decent used one. We've been tearing old columns apart for parts recently so there is a possibility that I may have one.
