Correct, Ford engines have a diffrent firing order and so on... I have to say, i really like the crisp Sound of the early Mustangs too. But again, diffrent firing order than our Chevrolet engines!
compares these. They dont have a different firing order. Only number the cylinders differently. 18436572 is the same physical firing order as 54263781 on fords.
Long Beach? I was just there a few months back. Ate at the German "Das Biergarten." Was great!! Owner is from Berlin (where I was stationed 1990-1994).
As for the OP, good luck finding a "raspy" exhaust. I believe the GHL Bullets (5" cans) on my C5 FRC with a forged 402, big cam, heads, LT Headers sounded like crap. It just sounded too, "tinny" or what some say, "raspy." In other words, it sounded cheap to me. Swapped out for B & B Bullets (without mufflers) and never looked back. Good luck.
