Raspy mufflers
A bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question, but what is considered to be a good, raspy sounding muffler?
I got a semi quick car (0-60 in 5.5 s) with a street cam, true duals, high comp heads,... but I'm absolutely irritated by the droning of my mufflers after a 1.5h drive, they are flowmasters. Saw/heard a 69 mustang today with exactly the sound I like, didnt have the chance to ask him what mufflers he has.
Whats a good, raspy, muffler? It seems that flowmasters are famous for their drone. I will accept video's of your exhaust as well!
On the plus side, first meeting and held up well over the course of 200 km!
which one do you have now?

Also ,, you'll never get your Corvette to sound like a mustang,,lol,,
physics and genetics, just won't let it happen, ,
, you have a better chance at a successful sex change operation, then that ever happening,
You will find the right muffler for you,,

Found 2 receipts, only 1 stating the mufflers but I know they're flowmasters on the car.

14 years as far as I know, although they were only used for about 4000 miles according to the miles registered etc.
They always sounded like this, it was a tad "better "in the beginning, but I didnt have the cam etc then. Didnt drive the car either because it was an absolute rust bucket.

This video I took running open headers at idle, but even with the exhaust on the sound is pretty much the same at idle. Cruise speed the sound is very reasonable, but at WOT they absolutely roar.

you'll want to be sure you want LOUD though....... it's very loud on WOT and not an especially peaceful cruising environment when the "tops" are on the car. Open air though, I think they are fine when cruising but this isn't a daily driver. Not sure I'd be as sanguine about the noise if I had to drive this car everyday.
