Thanks for the link. When I read articles like that I'm looking for the 'secret sauce'. Usually it's a special clandestine valve job or porting by a mythical character named 'randy' or '*'. Nothing jumped out at me. I guess it just goes to show its all in the 'combination'......or lack of an Edlebrock intake (lol).

I love reading these types of stories. I built two engines that I later found HR builds similar to which was awesome. I wanted a solid lifter L79 then found their story. I also wanted more 1 year later and was looking at cams and slapping them into my desk top dyno to see where i could keep it streetable and get 400+ HP. I decided on a cam and then Jkippin found me this story... same cam. So now I have that engine from the story. And its pretty fun. heres some links if you guys like reading this sort of thing
