Heading for the dyno.....
just a 350....413 horsepower with 416 lb/ft of torque.
Not too bad for a 215 duration @ 0.050 roller cam with only .469 lift, 10.1 compression and AFR 180cc heads. It is a Chris Straub custom ground cam though.

gjohnson, not sure how good it runs,I had a holley 770 street avenger carb and it only dyno at 283 HP. it keep fouling out and I had to lower the jets two sizes and also replaced the 2nd spring. still no help. shut her down and it would keep running for a few seconds. Replaced the 770 with the old 600 holley that was on the L48 355 motor to get it back to the shop before I went with the holley sniper. That set up only netted me with 250hp after the change to the EFI it pulled 293 HP still not happy. I did drive it home and then broked down when the gas pedal broke and fall to the floor. So I still don't know how strong this motor is.. will let you know when I get her back

Thats a bummer.Sounds like its a fuel delivery issue.I'm putting my Lars built Q-Jet set up for correct altitude and headers on my engine so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck.

Sweet! Do ya think that Port FI & AFR heads lent a hand ?

The AFR heads definitely help. The cam Chris designed was to work specifically with the AFR heads. I was hoping for 400 hp and he exceeded my expectations. The fuel injection may add a little but from all I have read it may not add much. Definitely a lot nicer to tune with though plus it controls the timing. I wanted the fuel injection for better drivability.
