Need help. Wiring....
Have an auto repair facility here but nobody can seem to answer a question for us.
GM people, Corvette dealers, ...
So I'm hoping I can get headway here.
There is a coolant temp sensor near the thermostat
It looks like white plastic with a flare on it.
The problem is the pigtail is not in the greatest of shape.
Attempting to replace this the only plug available from GM or from Dorman has 1 wire.
The customer's car has two wires.
I cant get anyone to confirm in any direction what and or why this was once 2 wire and now 1 wire.
I have a suspicion on what GM did but I'd like it confirmed.
