Default 1973 C3 Corvette

Evening Gurus, hope everyone is good. Trick question for the purist. In the centre console there are two adjustable wheels, one for defrost and heater and the other is for temperature adjustment. On the temperature adjustment there is 3 tubings. One is attached to a valve in the middle of the dashboard, one is a short open ended piece about an inch long and the 3rd is a long piece of tube about a foot and a half long but it is attached to nothing. Open to suggestions thanks. Stu

These cars use vacuum solenoids to change your vents from defrost to floor to center vents. Thats what the hoses are for My 73 has ac so 7 hoses . If you look on Willcox site you will find schematics of this vacuum switch

From your description, it sounds like your vacuum hoses have been cut. All of those lead to vacuum actuated controls.
