Final Brake Question I Promise
After rebuilding all 4 calipers and replacing the rotors, hoses and pads, I have a good firm pedal but the brakes feel a little weak. Do the pads need to break in and if so, how long does it usually take?

There is a procedure to break in the pads and is usually done on a back road so as not to interfere with traffic. You can Google it, but basically it involves three to four hard braking stops at various speeds.
Starting at 30MPH, hard brake, let cool.
Then 40.
Then 50.
No lock ups.
This will embed the pads without glazing.

As long as you did not get any brake fluid on the pad surfaces, the break-in procedure should fix you up. If pads get any fluid on the working surface, they should be cleaned well with brake cleaner before installing.
