I don't use the AC and want to remove the hoses from under the hood. They take up a lot of room and it's a pain in the $%#$@ when you have to do anything on the passenger side. I removed the condenser about 2 years ago. Can I just cut or unbolt the hose?
Well, if you have any inclination about keeping the other components viable for the future, you want to disconnect them at the fitting nuts and cap the remaining fitting properly to keep moisture, etc. out of the system. If the system has been 'open' since you removed the condenser, just use your sawz-all to cut 'em off.....
