I am putting a 69 427 BB in my 72. Does anyone have pictures of how the alternator and PS brackets are bolted in. I bought all original brackets from Paragon for a 69 BB. I have pictures of the AIM but still a little confused.
Also I am installing BB manifolds. Does the driver side come in from the top? It seems to hit the steering box when I go to install from above.
I went with the stock 801 intake for a 390hp 427. I had Lars rebuilt a 69 carb from a L46 car I had for this motor. I tried to keep everything stock like water pump etc.

When I put my exhaust manifolds on my 68 427, I loosened the motor mounts and jacked up the engine enough to get them in. It gave me enough room to clear the steering box. I’ll look and see if I have some pics of the alternator and power steering brackets.,

I've always installed the BB engines with the exhaust manifolds installed to the engine, less the headpipe studs. Is there any reason you left the manifolds off during engine installation..?
No reason other than I thought it would be easier. Never thought about the manifolds when I was doing the install. I thought I had thought of everything. Guess not.
