Default O Ring Calipers

I recently swapped all four calipers. I took advice of some "experts" who said lip seals would be fine if driven regularly and pumped a couple times a month during storage. Well, two of the four have been leaking a bit.
Company has sent four O Ring calipers to replace the lip seals, which I think is very good of them to do.
Here's the question: When I store the car in a few weeks, will I have to pump the brakes to exercise the O Rings regularly, or will they be ok for a couple of months in storage? I store the car in my home that is 75 miles from the home I live in during the winter and only get to a couple times during the winter.

Lip seals since 2012 and no issues with leaks other than when I tried to use a vac pump to bleed brakes.

O-rings here, did the upgrade 15+ years ago, took off and put on shelf for a few years after replacing them with Wilwoods. Gave them to a friend, he has had them for about 5 years with no problem. T

Lip seals lock up all 4's. Why would I want to switch to 'O' rings?

Having rebuilt both, the o-ring setup is more idiot proof. Lip seals simply require more care when putting the piston into the bore. Once assembled correctly, both work fine.

To answer the OPs question, I think you’ll be fine in not excersising them monthly.
