Got my BBC running!!
After a lot of years I finally got my big block built last year and into the frame. Took until this past weekend to hear it run though. Grabbed a short video below.

Thanks! I would love to be driving by next spring. Will have to see how far I can get with redoing the body and wiring. I maybe a year or two to finish what else I need to do.

Sounds really good! I’d leave the exhaust like that. Don’t choke it off with all those mufflers and pipes

I am surprised it does not chop harder considering the camshaft is on a 109 LSA. It is only a baby 229/229 duration though.

It has one in the valve cover, just have not run a hose to it. I also still need to finish bending the fuel line from the carb to pump.

If the engine is newly built, has it been 'broken-in'? Not much oil gets to the upper end when only at idle rpm.

It has been extensively oil primed. At 60 psi oil pressure I would think the oil has made its way around.
