Radio/Speaker help
I have a '73 going through a frame off and have finally gotten to the dash and now I need a radio plan and most importantly a couple of dash speakers so I can get the dash pad in the car. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Am after a good sound system, maybe with an amp and woofers in the trunk area. Not entering any sort of stereo competition, but something better than stock would be great.
A stock look for the radio would be nice but maybe not imperative as long as i didn't have to chop up the dash. Brand new stock dash replacement is going in the car.
Have the stock radio, but it is a mess. Would need to get it refurbished if I were to use it.
I see turnswitch can refurbish the radio and supply speakers that will work with the radio. Anyone have experience with them? Anyway to get a more modern radio with solid sound other than refurbishing the old radio and going with 10 ohm speakers? 10 ohm speakers seem to be a limiting factor. Would love satellite radio to be part of the solution. Am in Nevada and any road travel out of town, a satellite radio is nice.
Anyone have experience with https://www.classiccarstereos.com/19...te-radios.html ?
Thanks for the help.
