Use a small chisel to drive into the gap in the clamp so it will spread a bit. That will make it loose enough to remove.
BUT, if you plan on reinstalling the same CV (after rebuild, paint, whatever), you need to mark the exact orientation of the CV on the drag link and also count the exact number of turns needed to free it from the threads to the closest 1/8 turn. That way, you know exactly how many turns to re-engage it on the drag link when you go back together with it.
You have to remove NOT just loosen the pinch bolt. The drag link is machined with a clearance notch for the bolt. After that, a little PB blaster and some channel locks and it will spin right off.
