Replace Map Light Bulb in '74 C3
Hello All,
What is the correct way to replace the map light bulb in the rear view mirror in my 1974 C3? I don't want to damage the mirror.

Apparently the bulb is supposed to come out the bottom of the mirror along with the switch and bulb contacts. I just bought an after market mirror from Ecklers and the bulb does not fit through the opening in the bottom of the mirror while it is mounted between the switch contacts. With the switch removed, you are supposed to put the bulb between the contacts which support the bulb, (like a cradle) and install it as a complete assembly back into the mirror, but the cutout in the mirror is too small!
