Default Re: new vette owner!! (Metal_Wulf)

metal_wulf--with everything thats been changed/broken/removed in that car, i'm sure it's been repainted a few times.

and everyone else...thanks!!
also, a question for the many people that have had Corvettes for years: do you guys still get that heart stopping feeling when you fire up your 350's, 383's, 427's, and 454's??? i've had my 79 for about a month now (i've seen everything thats wrong with it, it hesitates badly and is slower than my sisters escort in the condition that its in right now!!) but my heart still almost stops whenever i go out there and take a good look at her. i hope that never goes away, i think Vettes are the best pieces of machinery on the planet, and every dime i make now is going straight towards the reconstruction of my prize possession!!
thanks again guys, and by the way, all of your vettes are unbelievably awesome!!

Congratulations and welcome to the best forum ever. I have had my 81 for over 5 years and I still get the feeling you talk about every time I start her up. Take your time and ask lots of questions.
