Good afternoon all, Last Carlisle I picked up a hand laid front bumper made by ACI for my 73 project and I am fitting it up before I start putting on slick sand.
I got the stainless steel kit to attach the bumper and I guess I need to put it in the right spot on the car and then mark it from behind and drill some holes, is that correct?
We held it up to the front of the car and marked it from the back with a sharpie and then I noticed there are very faint indentations on the bumper to indicate where you should drill so I put a few holes in there and mounted it up and it looks pretty good.
That looks like a nice piece and appears to fit nicely.
I also need to replace the front bumper on my 73.
Do you like the quality, lay up and finish?
Would you recommend ACI ?

I don't have anything to compare it to but the quality and finish all seem very good so I would recommend them. I stopped by the ACI display at Carlisle and was intending to buy it from them but then came across another vendor that had the piece I was looking for and he was cheaper so I bought it from him, it has the ACI label with the manufacture date on the inner surface.
