The Adjustment star on my passenger side E brakes is rusted tight.
I do not think it is going to break free.
How much of a job is it to take this apart ?
I see a bolt on the top and a spring on the bottom that I can get to.

They are all the same for 65-82. If you plan on cleaning it up and reusing it make sure it is clean and use never seize on it. If you go new they usually come in too long so listen carefully for the shoes hitting the rotor hat.
I can't figger out as to why bother?? any state inspection on a ~50 year old car?? seems krazy to me, my '72 was a stick shift, and I just left it in gear when parked.....rarely parked on a Kalifornia hillside being an east coaster.....now that it's a automatic, park is the position......
I not moved that ebrake lever in maybe 20 years.....
