I have deleted the heater hoses because its a warm weather car and my heater core is leaky. Do you need to link the WP in / out w/ hose or can you just plug. Thanks.
I plugged mine, no problems. However, this winter I decided to re-connect the entire heater system, as PA weather can get cold while there is still driving weather.
In the future gjohnson, if you wanted to just by-pass the core and leave the hoses, Dorman makes an adaptor just for that.

If it's a non AC car, not really that hard to replace the heater core. At least on my 68. Some times that cruise in the mountains is nice to have a bit of warn air.
I took out the vacuum valve and put in a manual in its place, just have to open it if I need heat.. Never have opened in, lack of heat has never been a problem in my 77 and I live in Minnesota.
