Default 1978 Ignition Problem

Got in our 1978 Corvette last night. Turned the ignition on. She cranked a few times, sounded normal, but didn't start right away. Turned the key off and tried again but nothing - no clicks or anything. Sounded completely dead. Battery seems fine. Any thoughts? Fuse? (Where is that) Ignition switch? Any suggestion on where to start would be helpful and appreciated!!

Also...check ground cables, especially the one off the starter. If the cable is frayed, it will present like a dead battery.

When you get NOTHING (no clicks, etc), you either have a starter solenoid that is kaput, a misadjusted or failed neutral start switch, or some [related] electrical wiring that is not making connection.
