T-Tops
Where can I get a pair of fiberglass t-tops? I've looked all around and all of the companies only have new glass tops or rebuilt glass tops. I have glass right now but one top is cracked :cry and it costs, I think, $375 :mad for Ecklers to rebuild it. And they don't offer the same color as the other one, so they wouldn't match. The whole reason I want fiberglass is because I think those will be cheaper. Is that true?

I see fiberglass tops on Ebay all the time for pretty cheap. One of the things you have to factor in is the cost of painting them. What color is your tint on your tops? Check out http://www.astrotops.com . They have one piece acrylic tops that cover the whole top the same as the C4's. They also have replacement t-tops that are acrylic (In other words, just like the glass ones). I have never bought tops from them, however, I have talked to someone who said his one piece top leaked. Ask around the forum to see if anyone else has bought the one piece or replacement t-tops to get opinions from people who may have purchased from them. I have thought about buying the one piece myself, so I am also interested in hearing the answer. Good luck. On another note, I have a driver's side blue reflective top for sale. It has 2 cracks in it (the cracks are only on the inside). The weatherstrip needs replaced also. I will entertain any offer. Thanks...... :conehead

A few weeks back there was a post regarding the one piece tops. I think most of the feedback was positive. I don't think I'd go with the one piece because it's been my dream to have t-tops.
Thanks for bringing to my attention that they make acrylic t-tops. Never noticed that.
Don't think I'll buy yours though, I already have 3 tops, 2 of which are cracked all over.

Oh- sorry. I didn't figure you'd want another cracked top. I just thought I'd take the opportunity to piggy-back on your post. If you buy from Astrotops, I'd be very interested in hearing how your experience goes-as far as customer service and fitment. Good luck dude!!
