I thoughtAbout buying a new spring but decided to hold off as that can be part of a bigger picture. However, I have changed bolts, bushings and did a Bubba move.
i took the car for a ride and was pretty aggressive around corners. The spring held up. Did not separate but I believe the Bubba clamp helped. I’m not a mechanic but was able to take the spring out and put it back in about 3 hours. Most of the time was setting up too be safe as I was not in the mood to get hurt. Lol.
Plate not on mine but your point brought me to this....op....the bolts if tight should not allow movement...ISThatBolt bent????
if tight..it must be to allow the spring to move..?
