T56 Crossmember Help
Hello Everyone,
I am about to tackle the Cross member mod for my LQ9/T56 swap. I have the plates to make the cross member removable. What I need help with is the Transmission pad. Does anyone have any measurements of what they did were it bolts to the trans. I found a old tread a year ago but cant seem to find it now. It shows someone cutting out the current bolt location and lowering it about an inch or so and re-welding it back in. I am wanting to use the stock cross member. I have a bare aluminum block here that i am going to bolt the trans to so i can get this mocked up without having the weight of a complete engine to wrestle. Thanks for the help. The C3 has been on the back burner for the last year and a half while I built my house and just recently had a kid so I hope to get back on it.
