I am in the process of removing the spindle on my 1977. I have been able to unbolt everything except the bolt that the swingarm swivels on. I easily removed the castle nut, but i cant get the bolt to budge. I saw a video where they just pried it out. Is it just frozen or am i missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Over time the bolt can rust and seize to the metal sleeve inside the rubber bushing, making it nearly impossible to remove it normally. This is when most folks break out the sawzall and cut away. Be advised that the bolt is likely grade 5 or 8 and difficult to cut so start with some good blades intended to cut hardened steel.
There have been many posts here over the years on doing exactly this task. A quick search will likely turn up a number of posts.
By the way, welcome to the Corvette Forum, I think you'll soon find it the handiest tool in your tool box.
One thing I think you'll find in time is there are many experts here on the Forum on different areas of these cars. When you meet them here you will recognize them quickly. They are one of the things about the Corvette Forum that make it so valuable. One of them is GTR1999 also known as Gary Ramadi. Gary is by all means an expert on anything to do with the entire rear suspension, but certainly not limited to that. However his advice on anything suspension related, is always best heeded.
