Okay...I got my new engine all together and broken in, finally got the brakes and transmission back together and working, suspension rebuilt, body back on and I got tires for my new 17in wheels. The car is sitting in my garage and it COULD drive down the road. It has no exhaust (just headers), no interior, no lights, no paint, and no glass but I really want to drive it do you think one spin around the block could hurt. My neighbors have only called the cops on me once for running it in the garage after 10:00 pm. What do you think? Think I could get away with it? Just open it up once and row through the gears.
Heck before I removed my body. I drove it down the street and back without headlights, taillights, or seats, I sat on a milk create....I just needed that motivation factor you know!
Speaking of neighbors.. about the same time I did the above I put a MSD on my 1982 Bronco and put the ignition wires back in the Chevy sequence. It put out the loudest backfire I've ever heard. All my neighbors came out they thought I had blown myself up (probably hoping) It blew a hole in one of the mufflers the size of a softball. hehehe
It is a 76 and they are firethorn red I doubt that you would want them...like the rest of the interior they are in pretty sad shape....anyway I hope to have an interior someday.
