Edelbrock E tech 170 heads headers ??
Hi my 73 Vette with ac and 400 trans is getting Edelbrock E tech 170 heads I need headers for the motor problem is Edelbrock says the exhaust ports are .200 1/4” raised what headers will work anybody using this setup thanks

what is the part number of the head...Im looking at Summit and dont see the raised port heads

It says raised runner intake port. That won't effect headers however you need a vortex style intake. Why those heads? Seems there are alot of options at least as good or better

I'd use them over lots of other heads. They get crapped on for being overpriced Edelbrock pieces, but the 170cc E-tech heads were one of the best performers in the Hot Rod Danger Mouse series. That series may have been a while ago, but the numbers the heads made are still impressive.

I have the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads on my 78 L82. I like the fact that they are the 2.02 intakes like the original heads but I think they give up some low end torque to the E-Tech heads.
