Has anyone installed a QuickTime RM-6022 bellhousing? I am concerned about the shape of the opening for the clutch arm boot. As you know, the OE “621” housing has a rectangular shape but the QuickTime appears to be trapezoidal. I don’t want to run without a boot.
Most people that have these items have heat as an enemy, me included. I ran a 700r4 without a dust cover and fan type blades between the flex and TC. Now my Lakewood and tko600 is also all open. I'm not sure how much water spray if any can actually get up to the clutch fork area
I have that QT bellhousing and wanted to run a boot. I just took some sheet metal, stuck it in the bellhousing and cut a hole in it for a stock boot. Trying and failing to remember how I attached the sheet metal. Maybe a few screws, it's been a long time.
