keyless entry system on a late model c3
has anyone installed a keyless entry system on their vette? I'm thinking about getting one to put on my 81 and was wandering how hard it would be to install. looks like lots of wires :crazy: Is there a certain brand I should check out?

I installed an Alpine alarm system a couple years ago and it has a keyless entry, ignition startup, etc. I wired the keyless entry option up and it works great. There are alot of wires and it took some trial-and-error to get it working right, but I think it was worth it. Whatever you do, make sure you have a volt meter handy.

Search the archives. I know there are archived posts with detailed instructions and parts lists.
I installed keyless entry on my '71 and it wasn't hard. Got the parts from partsexpress.com for less than $100, including actuators.
