It looks like the circuit breaker you are considering must be manually reset. The original one resets automatically after it cools down. Why reinvent the wheel? Jerry
The Question was can I put in whatever circuit breaker? Like the one on picture but not necessarily exactly one like that.
((my reason is because I'm in Europe and as this is the only part I need from US for my corvette, it's not worth shipping and custom tax for only this))

I use a number of those breakers in my car. I think they are a good alternative to fuses and automatic breakers. I personally like the idea of shutting off a circuit for whatever reason I want.
You are wise to replace your failed piece with a 'circuit breaker', rather than a fuse. But, if you find that you are regularly having to reset the new breaker, you need to realize that the PW circuit has some problem which is causing this over-current issue. You really need to find the fault and fix it. It could be as simple as the window regulator mechanisms are very sticky with old, caked lube putting it into a 'bind'. Repeatedly pushing a RESET button on a circuit breaker is just putting a "Band-Aid" on a significant issue.

I use the cooper bussman circuit breakers similar to the one shown for my fan circuit and fuel pump circuit in my C4. The one shown does not have any markings on it so it could be chinese knock off so try find a real cooper bussman. I had 2 self resetting breakers burn out and were chinese knock offs I later found out!
